My Story

My story is one full of twists and turns. Joy and struggles. Tears and Celebrations. No matter what, it's still my story. After my dad died before I was born, I was raised by my incredible mom and devoted grandma. From them, I learned how to connect to the heart of people and truly care. I became a pastor, then a foster dad, then an adoptive dad, and now the husband to an incredible entrepreneur and step dad. This has been a journey that I've learned a lot from and am continuing to grow as a person.

If my journey has taught me anything, it's that we all have a story. None of us has had the same story, experiences, trials or successes. One of the best things in life is to listen and learn from the experiences of others. That is exactly why I love being a part of wedding ceremonies. I love to hear and be captivated by the journey of each couple and family. I take in every detail so that I might be able to share that story with others.

While most of the people at your wedding might know a part or even much of your story, none truly knows it like you do. Every couple I work with I share that my goal is to help every person attending their wedding to fall in love with their love story. My hope would be that each person would leave the wedding ceremony knowing that there is a true story and journey that brought you two together, and now there really is something to go and celebrate. I would love the opportunity to do the same for you and your big day, to tell your story and help others to be just as captivated by it as you are.

  • Designing a Wedding Ceremony Just for You Takes Some Prep and Planning. Here are the steps to your perfect Ceremony that captures your Love Story:
  • 1. Initial meeting - make sure we’re both good to work together and for me to start to get to know your story.
  • 2. Contract signed and deposit.
  • 3. Questionnaire filled out by both partners, this is for basic info but also for me to start to get to know you both and your story.
  • 4. In depth meeting, where I get to know you both, your stories and what your perfect ceremony looks like.
  • 5. I send out a few emails questions to parents or a couple of people who are your most important influences in your lives.
  • 6. I write and create a ceremony that incorporates what you’re looking for and unique elements of your journey and story.
  • 7. Final meeting to go over any last minute changes and finalizations of details.
  • 8. If added, I attend your rehearsal to walk through what the day will look like.
  • 9. Ceremony day!
  • 10. I take care of sending in your marriage license and continue to be available if you need anything.
